The Roush Automotive Collection is pleased to announce the first Open House event scheduled for the 2018 summer season to be held on Thursday May 3rd from 5 pm – 8 pm. This Open House event features a Car Cruise-in, Door Prize Drawings, Roush Clean Tech Tour, Roush Performance Tour, ROUSH Engine Build Demonstration, Trophy Room Display, Fun Kids Activities, and our highly anticipated Clearance Sale. The doors open for the sale at 10:00 am and the sale runs until 8:00 pm. This sale will feature discounts on a variety of ROUSH and ROUSH Racing apparel and merchandise. Please note that no drivers will be attending this event.
This is the first of three summer events that will be held for the 2018 season. Open House Cruise-in events will be held on May 3rd, June 7th and August 9th at our Livonia, MI facility. All of our open house events are rain or shine, open to the public and free to get in.
Car Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles from 5 pm – 8 pm for display in our parking lot and in the designated areas along Market Street.
During the Open House, register for a chance to win one of our door prize giveaways. Drawings will be held at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Contestants must be present to win. Must be 18 years or older to enter. One door prize entry per night; multiple entries in door prize drawing will lead to disqualification for all prizes. Door prize give-aways include a chance to win an Autographed Trevor Bayne 1:24 Die-cast, Autographed Roush Fenway Driver Hat, Autographed Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Hat, Autographed Roush Racing Straw Hat, Roush 40th Anniversary Business Card Holder/Paperweight & 40th Anniversary Sticker and a Kurt Busch 2004 Champion 1:24 Die-cast signed by Jack Roush.
Don’t miss your chance to tour two of our Roush facilities! We will be offering tours of Roush Clean Tech and Roush Performance throughout the day. Sign up for the Roush Clean Tech tour for a behind the scenes look at our alternative fuel vehicle conversion facility or for the Roush Performance tour to see firsthand what goes into producing a Roush Performance vehicle. Our shuttle vans will leave from the Roush Collection at 10 am for the Roush Clean Tech tour and at 1 pm for the Roush Performance tour. Tours are limited to the first 20 people for each time slot so reserve your spot on the shuttle. Please Pre-Register for the tours by calling 734-779-7290.
A two man crew from the Roush Engine Build Department will demonstrate at 6 pm a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion.
Our trophy room will be open for viewing from noon until 7 pm! This room is typically not open to the public so here is your chance to see a part of Roush history up close! Photography is allowed in the room so don’t forget your camera!
All our events are family friendly so bring the kids! We will have several fun activities for the kids to do including a bean bag toss, coloring table, and a Pinewood Derby track! Bring your own 1:64 die-casts or use some of ours!
With all this fun you’ll be sure to work up an appetite, a local vender will be onsite selling hotdogs, soda and water during lunch 11 am – 1 pm and for dinner 5 pm – 8 pm.
