The Roush Automotive Collection is pleased to announce the first Open House event scheduled for the 2017 summer season to be held on Thursday May 4th from 5 pm – 8 pm. This Star Wars themed Open House event features a Car Cruise-in, Door Prize Drawings, Roush Performance Tour, ROUSH Engine Build Demonstration, and our highly anticipated Clearance Sale. The doors open for the sale at 10:00 am and the sale runs until 8:00 pm. This sale will feature discounts on a variety of ROUSH and ROUSH Racing apparel and merchandise. Please note that no drivers will be attending this event.
This is the first of three summer events that will be held for the 2017 season. Open House Cruise-in events will be held on May 4th, June 15th and August 10th at our Livonia, MI facility. All of our open house events are rain or shine, open to the public and free to get in.
Our first event takes place on Thursday, May the 4th, Star Wars Day! Wear your Star Wars gear and/or costumes to be eligible to enter a special 6:30 pm door prize drawing for a chance to win a Star Wars gift basket (must be 18 or older to enter and be present to win). Have your photo taken at our Star Wars pose spot and get a small Star Wars trinket to take home (while supplies last). All our events are family friendly so bring the kids and get creative at our coloring table. Car Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles from 5 pm – 8 pm for display in our parking lot and in the designated areas along Market Street.
During the Open House, register for a chance to win one of our door prize give-aways. Drawings will be held at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Contestants must be present to win. Must be 18 years or older to enter. One door prize entry per night; multiple entries in door prize drawing will lead to disqualification for all prizes. Door prize give-aways include a chance to win an Autographed Trevor Bayne 1:24 Die-cast, Ryan Reed 1:24 Die-cast, Autographed Chris Buescher 1:24 Die-cast, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Autographed Hat, Bubba Wallace Jr. 1:24 Die-cast and a Kurt Busch 2004 Champion 1:24 Die-cast signed by Jack Roush.
Sign up to tour the Roush Performance Products Facility which is separate from the Roush Collection Museum. Shuttles leave from the Roush Collection to transport guests to the Roush Performance Facility where guests can see firsthand what goes into producing a Roush Performance vehicle. The tour will be held at 1:00 pm and seating is limited to 20 people; to ensure your place on the shuttle please Pre-Register by calling 734-779-7290.
A two man crew from the Roush Engine Build Department will demonstrate at 6 pm a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. With all this fun you’ll be sure to work up an appetite, a local vender will be onsite selling hotdogs, soda and water during lunch 11 am – 1 pm and for dinner 5 pm – 8 pm.
