2011 Fall Car Show & Clearance SALE: Prices are falling!

The last Open House event scheduled for the 2011 season at the Roush Automotive Collection will be held on Thursday, September 15th 2011. This Open House event will feature WRIF’s Car Show, Museum Trunk or Treat Scavenger hunt, Engine Build Demonstration, Door Prizes, and our Annual Fall Clearance Sale. Please note that no drivers will be attending this event.
Detroit’s 101 the WRIF will be hosting & sponsoring a car show during our September Open House. Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles for a chance to win one of these trophies. The car show will officially begin at 5:00 pm and will run until 7:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the event. If you would like to pre-register for the car show please visit WWW.WRIF.COM and sign up to become a CyberCrew member and join the WRIF Muscle Car Club. There is no charge to join and registration for the car show is free.
A trunk or treat scavenger hunt will be held in the museum. Follow the clues through the museum and visit all the check points to receive your treats at the end. You can wear your Halloween costumes but it is not required. Those who complete the scavenger hunt will get entered into a kid’s only door prize drawing. There will also be a fall themed craft for the kids!
A two man crew from the ROUSH Engine Build Department will demonstrate a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. Cottage Inn will be on site selling pizza by the slice starting at 5:00 pm.
During the Open House, register for a chance at our door prize give-aways. Drawings will be held at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Contestants must be present to win. Door prize give-aways include a chance to win a Roush Cooler Bag, 3 piece BBQ Set, a 6 Piece BBQ Set, an Autographed Roush Fenway Hat, a Roush Racing Fleece Blanket, and a 2007 David Ragan owners elite signed 1:24 Scale Die-cast.
The Fall Clearance Sale starts at 10:00 am and runs until 8:00 pm. This end of the season sale will feature great deals on a variety of ROUSH and ROUSH Racing apparel and merchandise. Treasure hunters will find on race car body panels from the NASCAR series Roush Fenway Teams.
Sign up to tour the Roush Performance Products Facility which is separate from the Roush Collection Museum. A shuttle will leave from the Roush Collection to transport guests to the Roush Performance Facility where guests can see firsthand what goes into producing a Roush Performance vehicle. The tour will be held at 2:30 pm seating is limited to 20 people; to ensure your place on the shuttle please Pre-Register by calling 734-779-7290.
