2010 Fall Clearance Sale: September 16th
The last Open House event scheduled for the 2010 summer season at the Roush Automotive Collection will be held on Thursday September 16th 2010. This Open House event will feature WRIF Games, Pinewood Derby Test Track, WRIF Car Show, Engine Build Demonstration, Door Prizes, and our Annual Fall Clearance Sale. Please note that no drivers will be attending this event.
Participate in several ‘Manly” games and get a WRIF Man Card. Everyone who gets a WRIF Man Card will be automatically entered for the chance to win a race car side window signed by all the Roush Fenway Nascar Drivers! Must be 21 and up to get a WRIF Man Card. *Disclaimer: One does not technically need to be a man to get a “WRIF Man Card”. Once must simply appreciate & uphold all things “Manly”. There will be separate games for the kids and a prize awarded to them for participating in the games.
A Two-Lane Pinewood Derby Track will be available during the Open House to race your Pre-built Pinewood Derby Cars. Bring your own or use one of ours. There will be no competition or awards just a good time & the opportunity to show off your hard work.
Detroit’s 101 the WRIF will be hosting & sponsoring a car show during our September Open House. Cruisers are invited to bring their classic and special interest vehicles for a chance to win one of these trophies. The car show will officially begin at 5:00 pm and will run until 8:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome the day of the event. If you would like to pre-register for the car show please visit WWW.WRIF.COM and sign up to become a CyberCrew member and join the WRIF Muscle Car Club. There is no charge to join and registration for the car show is free.
A two man crew from the ROUSH Engine Build Department will demonstrate a complete engine build-up, including a live test run upon completion. Guests can satisfy their appetite at the J.R.’s Garage Filling Station. Hamburgers, hot dogs and other cruise-in favorites are on the menu.
During the Open House, register for a chance at our door prize give-away. Drawings will be held at 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Contestants must be present to win. Door prize give-aways include a chance to win a Roush Racing Travel Mug 3 piece BBQ Set, a 6 Piece BBQ Set, an Autographed Roush Flame Hat, a Roush Racing Fleece Blanket, and a Roush Racing Runner.
The Fall Clearance Sale starts at 10:00 am and runs until 8:00 pm. This end of the season sale will feature great deals on a variety of ROUSH and ROUSH Racing apparel and merchandise. All of our sheet metal race car pieces will be on SALE FOR 50% OFF the day of the event. Treasure hunters will find great deals on our race car body panels from the NASCAR series Roush Fenway Teams. Roush Fenway race driven win tires will be available for purchase regular price $20, on Sale for $15 the day of the event.
Sign up to tour the Roush Performance Products Facility which is separate from the Roush Collection Museum. Shuttles leave from the Roush Collection to transport guests to the Roush Performance Facility where guests can see firsthand what goes into producing a Roush Performance vehicle. Tours held at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm seating is limited to 20 people per time slot; to ensure your place on the shuttle please Pre-Register by calling 734-779-7290.
